Yes, we do genetic testing on all of our breeding cats. The cats are tested for HCM and SMA. They must test negative/negative or negative/positive for PKdef before they can be used in our breeding program.

(A negative/positive for PKdef means that they are just a carrier and won’t be affected. It is fine and acceptable to breed a PKdef negative/positive cat with a PKdef negative/negative cat. The offspring will not be affected.)

Breeding rights are strictly sold to established breeders. We work closely with other breeders in this matter. Selling breeding rights is done at our discretion.

YES! They do very well with children. We educate families on introducing their kitten to all family members.

Yes, they do. Kittens shed very little. Adult cats shed. We brush our cats. They actually like to be brushed and combed. We will brush them when they sit on our laps. For most, it’s soothing and relaxing for them. It’s a great bonding time for you and your cat too!

Maine Coon cats have an amazing temperament. Each has their own personality too. We spend a lot of time socializing with our cats and kittens. They love to be with us all the time. They want to be in the same room or on our laps. Maine Coons are very intelligent, loveable and loyal to their families.

Registration papers are sent when we have confirmation that your kitten has been spay or neutered by your Vet. Your kitten must be spay or neutered by age six (6) months.
